» THE GOLDEN MALLThe 'Golden Mall' is situated right in the heart of the Gold Coast. It has 46 shops, and quite a few coffee bars to it's name. At various times during the year events are held in the mall, attracting people from all over both Queensland and New South Wales. It's a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Watch out, though; it's more or less always really busy. |

» SURFER'S PARADISESurfer's Paradise is a section of the Gold Coast's beach. It attract a lot of attention from surfers, and it has a reputation for being the best place in Australia for surfing. Surfers Paradise beach was voted as one of the best beaches in the world by the American Travel Channel, and it is ajoined to Gold Coast's main beach. |

It's perfect for swimming in those hot summer months, but it's well known to get biting cold in the colder ones, too. |
